O.R.B.I.T. Academy is the structured research-education branch of O.R.B.I.T., designed to give students both the foundational knowledge and specialized methodological skills needed to understand and participate responsibly in scholarly research.
PART I
Research Foundations
The Academy foundation curriculum develops the shared knowledge students need to read, discuss, design, document, and communicate research responsibly. Topics describe the planned training structure and may be introduced in phases.

Framing answerable questions and developing appropriate hypotheses.
Scientific Reading & Critical Appraisal
Reading scholarly work for claims, methods, evidence, limitations, and relevance.
Literature Search & Databases
Search strategy and database navigation, including PubMed, Google Scholar, and Scopus.
Research Proposal Development
Turning a question into a coherent, feasible, and well-supported proposal.
Study Design
Choosing structures that align questions, evidence, participants, measurements, and analysis.
Statistics & Data Interpretation
Foundational statistical concepts and responsible interpretation of results.

Research Is Not One Method.
Different questions require different approaches. O.R.B.I.T. Academy introduces students to a broad range of research methodologies and scholarly formats so they can develop skills relevant to their interests. Students are not expected to complete every methodology.

O.R.B.I.T. Research Scholar
Students who successfully complete O.R.B.I.T. Academy requirements and demonstrate research competency through applied work may earn recognition as an O.R.B.I.T. Research Scholar.
Research Scholars may become eligible to progress into O.R.B.I.T. Research. Recognition does not guarantee research-team placement, which depends on project availability, preparation, team needs, and mentor capacity.
