Provides academic guidance, institutional support, and continuity for O.R.B.I.T.’s educational and research initiatives. Advises leadership on research integrity, university policy, faculty engagement, and responsible scholarly development.

Establishes O.R.B.I.T.’s research-access mission, strategic direction, academic standards, and long-term organizational vision while coordinating faculty engagement and responsible scholarly growth.
Vice President / Co-Founder & Director of Operations & Research Strategy
Sociology & Communications · CLAS
Turns O.R.B.I.T.’s research vision into coordinated semester plans, internal systems, clear program ownership, leadership priorities, and a scalable student-development pathway.
Secretary / Director of Strategic Outreach & Academic Partnerships
Cognitive Science · CLAS
Maintains organizational documentation and leads faculty, graduate-researcher, mentor, guest-speaker, and academic-partnership outreach across the research community.
Treasurer / Director of Finance & Grant Administration
Physiology & Neurobiology · CLAS
Oversees budgeting, reimbursements, financial records, university compliance, grant administration, approved funding allocation, and the responsible stewardship of O.R.B.I.T. resources.
Director of Research & Publications
Physiology & Neurobiology · CLAS
Supports scientific writing, manuscript development, internal peer review, publication readiness, ethical authorship, scholarly-output tracking, and research dissemination.
Director of Research Training & Academic Programming
Leads the development and delivery of O.R.B.I.T. Academy, including research instruction, workshop activities, curriculum coordination, competency checks, and responsible training standards.
Director of Recruitment & Pipeline Development
Cognitive Science · CLAS
Guides recruitment, member onboarding, student engagement, retention, and progression from open-entry community participation toward Academy, research, and leadership opportunities.
Director of Computational Science & Data Engineering
Develops quantitative and computational research training in statistics, coding, reproducible analysis, data visualization, research documentation, and technical skill development.
Director of Symposium & Conference Affairs
Coordinates research-poster preparation, conference abstracts, presentation workshops, submission timelines, scholarly events, and responsible research dissemination.
Director of Research Fundraising & Community Engagement
Leads fundraising, sponsorship outreach, community partnerships, donor engagement, and development of future research-support initiatives and O.R.B.I.T. microgrants.
Director of Technology & Infrastructure
Help maintain O.R.B.I.T.’s website, digital learning systems, research-opportunity database, forms, member tools, and scalable technical infrastructure.

RESEARCH FUNDRAISING & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The fundraising director develops relationships, sponsorship strategies, campaigns, and community partnerships that can strengthen O.R.B.I.T. and support the future Research Grant Program.
